Before you paste
Cursive here means script-style Unicode letters, not a font. The strokes do not join like real handwriting, and a few capitals look slightly different from the lowercase. Keep details people need in plain text.

Cursive Fonts: common questions
What is the difference between cursive and italic text?
Italic is a slanted version of ordinary letters. Cursive, or script, aims at a handwritten look. Both appear on this page, but only the script styles are cursive, and the name choice includes italic so you can compare them.
Are the letters connected like real cursive?
No. Every letter is a separate Unicode character, so the strokes do not join. A real script font chosen in an editor can connect letters, but copy and paste script cannot.
Why does one capital look different from the rest?
A few script capitals sit in another part of Unicode from the rest of the alphabet, so some fonts draw them in a slightly different design. Try bold script, or style only the first letter.
How much of my bio should be cursive?
A name or the opening line is usually enough. Leave links, places and contact details in plain text so they stay readable and searchable.
Is this a cursive text generator or a cursive font generator?
Both. It turns the text you type into cursive-style Unicode letters, so it works as a cursive text generator and as a cursive font generator you can copy and paste. It does not install a font, and the letters do not connect like real handwriting.
Can I use this cursive text for a tattoo?
Use it to try out a name or a word, but not as the final artwork. These are Unicode characters, so every device draws them with its own font and the shapes can differ. For a tattoo, pick a real cursive font, look at it at full size and ask your artist to draw it from that design.
Are these calligraphy fonts or script fonts?
They are script-style Unicode letters, so they work as calligraphy fonts and script fonts for names and short captions that you can copy and paste. They look like handwriting, but the strokes do not join, and they are not a font file you install.
